The Secretary General of the Freedom Party, Tedi Blushi, condemned today that the authorities have violated the law by not allowing the President of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, to meet with his sister and children.
Through a statement to the media, Blushi said that these actions against Ilir Meta are Prime Minister Edi Rama's primitive revenge against him and the opposition.
Blushi also said that in the trial against Meta, which he said will be held with open doors to citizens, what he described as politically fabricated accusations against the leader of the PL will be dismantled.

Following the criminal process, completely farcical and political, personally ordered by Edi Rama at the Socialist Party Assembly and signed by Altin Dumani, which culminated in the terrorist kidnapping and continues with the detention without facts and criminal evidence for 8 months in extreme isolation, another primitive and vindictive act was undertaken today against the President of the Freedom Party, Mr. Ilir Meta, a few days after, in retaliation, he was sentenced to 10 days of non-exercise of sports activities just because he gave an interview conducted live from the detention cell.
In flagrant violation of the law on pre-trial detainees, President Meta was today denied his planned weekly meeting with his sister and children, allegedly as if this meeting was postponed by me as Secretary General, a common and dirty fraud, like this entire process.
The ban on meeting with his sister4 and children, which is a right and not a privilege for every detainee, proves the primitive revenge of Altin Dumani and Edi Rama, who are horrified by Ilir Meta's truths even when they are spoken from the detention phone booths.
This primitive and ordinary revenge, which was also witnessed on voting day on May 11, when President Meta's red and black colors terrified Altin Dumani and Edi Rama, who ordered journalists not to even film the moment of Mr. Meta's vote, occurs immediately after the exhaustive clarification that the President of the Freedom Party made today regarding the fake news sponsored with the dirty money of the incinerator that does not exist on the regime's televisions.
The headlines released by the regime, like the Ayatollah's missiles, to bombard public opinion with unfounded facts, received an exhaustive explanation from President Meta today.
But once again we emphasize that there is no evidence and no criminal facts against him and that in flagrant violation of the law, the Constitution, and the European Convention on Human Rights, he continues to be held in extreme isolation and his investigations continue to be deliberately extended by another 3 months, although on May 27 he was informed of the charges and the defendant was taken into custody.
Not 6 years, but even 600 years of investigating Ilir Meta's 32 years of public and political life have never been able to find a single fact or evidence, not on earth but on any other planet, to send a letter of request, to implicate him in relation to the law. The opposite is true, Mr. Meta has always proven that he is an example of correct respect for the law and the Constitution.
No illegal act has occurred and cannot occur by Ilir Meta, neither in the Republic of Albania, nor in the USA, nor in any other country.
Public opinion will see this during the trial on the merits, which cannot be closed like the "closed lists," but will be open to citizens, where we will dismantle the accusations of Edi Rama's servants and where everyone will also see Edi Rama's "witnesses."

The Freedom Party calls on all international institutions, the Council of Europe, the European Parliament, the US Department of State and organizations that protect freedoms and human rights to react forcefully and severely condemn this flagrant and recidivist violation of human rights, the law, the Constitution and the European Convention on Human Rights, which began with the political investigation, continued with the inhuman and denigrating terrorist kidnapping, by masked bandits, heavily armed and without identification documents, continues with the extreme isolation without facts and without criminal evidence, primitive revenge that sometimes appears by taking away the right to be filmed when voting, which continues with the sentence of 10 days to not exercise sports activities and most recently with the denial of the right to meet with family members, as clearly provided for by the law.
