The leader of the Movement for National Development, Dashamir Shehi, has leveled accusations today against the Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha, saying that he is using the DP for his own troubles.
Shehi made the comments on 'Dita Jonë' on A2 CNN, where he said that Berisha kicked the opposition alternative, after he, in collaboration with Rama, decided not to open the lists.
Shehi also added that the opposition with an open list was certain of victory in the elections, as according to him, it would mobilize hundreds of boys and girls throughout Albania in a free and fair competition.
He said that Berisha constantly invents a short-term objective to keep the group together without a political project.
"It would be better if Berisha were not at the head of the DP. The DP would not have this burden that it has now. The DP has spent energy protecting Berisha. The political project has been around this person. It started with the idea of McGonagall in a dress and the others. It has been diverted all this time in this matter.
"It has been constantly invented by a close objective to keep the group together without a political project. A closed list was created, this is to kick the opposition alternative. With an open list, the opposition would win. We had the opportunity to mobilize hundreds of boys and girls up and down Albania," said Shehi, writes A2 CNN. (A2 Televizion)
