Democratic Party MP, Jorida Tabaku, commented on the 'Weekend Diary' with journalist Erion Dushi on A2 CNN on the latest replies between Prime Minister Edi Rama and Democratic Leader Lulzim Basha on social networks.
Tabaku said she feels sorry for anyone who thinks that momentary fame can bring them attention, which, according to her, only serves Prime Minister Rama.
She also said that people do not want songs and chants, but need a concrete alternative, which according to her, the Democratic Party offers.
"I feel sorry for anyone who thinks that momentary fame can bring them attention. Because I think they are doing exactly what Edi Rama is doing after the discussion of the song and the tallava. People need an alternative and they think they will choose the alternative.
I am not one of those politicians who asks for likes on Facebook, because likes on Facebook have no value. What is valuable is the support of the people. Albanian citizens do not need us to copy Edi Rama today, but they need what we will do for them tomorrow.
"It is a very big responsibility, I also have a responsibility because they have been in opposition for 12 years. We have power from the people, the people give us their votes and we must speak for the people," said Tabaku, writes A2 CNN. (A2 Televizion)
