"I will keep my mouth shut until May 11th" - Dash Sula recounts the

Democratic Party MP, Dashnor Sula, spoke on 'Ditari i Pasdites' with journalist Bruna Çifligu on A2 CNN about the causes that led to his split with the DP and the phone calls he has received from various political actors and factors.

Sula said that he does not hate anyone in Albanian politics, although he claimed that he has been wronged, but added that until May 11 he will keep his mouth shut, so as not to show that he is spiteful.

He added that there were different positions with the DP after the loss of the 2021 elections by Lulzim Basha and the rostrum of the Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha.

"In the last two weeks, it had never occurred to me that I would receive phone calls from all sides of political parties or people who are on the lists. This is also materializing today within the list itself, because the way the code is written, there is an internal conflict for votes with each other. They say give me your vote, don't give it to that other person.

This is what happens, that during your political journey you create certain groups or lobbies that make a career within the political force, not because of meritocracy, but also because of certain lobbies. Basha was kept at the head of the DP by Berisha and people close to him, after losing the April 25 elections. I have also had different positions on the podium, to some extent, not violent like some of my colleagues who are in politics today.

"One thing I want you to know, I never hate anyone. It's in my DNA and the genesis of my family. But I will tell you the truth. But I will hold my tongue until May 11th, so as not to seem like a hater, and the 11th will show whether I was right or these others were right," Sula said, writes A2 CNN. (A2 Televizion)
