Former candidate for the Vlora district of the "Nisma-Albania Becomes" coalition in the May 11 elections, Ornela Hila, has expressed disappointment with Endri Shabani after the issue of the mandate won in Tirana degenerated into personal insults between him and Adriatik Lapaj.
In "Debat" by Alba Alishani, on A2 CNN, Hila said that she still does not understand why the head of Nisma Thurje, Endri Shabani, made this political decision.
"Personally, to be honest, it has disappointed me and in a way I have also felt ashamed, because in no way can this stance of Mr. Shabani represent what we have aimed for and intend to represent as young people, who attempted to enter politics with a new model, prioritizing meritocracy," Hila said in "Debat" by Alba Alishani, on A2 CNN.
Hila further said that Shabani did not keep his word when the "Nisma Thurje" and the "Albania Becomes" Movement agreed to compete in a coalition on May 11.
"It was an unprecedented lack of forgiveness, as the model of the new politics that we aspired to was not this.
