Prime Minister Edi Rama was present this morning at the presentation of the report of the Accreditation Board of Higher Education Institutions.
The meeting discussed data collected during a 4-year intensive work cycle for the evaluation of universities in Albania, writes A2 CNN.
During his speech, Rama emphasized the importance of this process as part of the vision for a "University 4.0", underlining that the report represents a valuable balance for the further development of higher education in the country.
Rama also added that the report highlights the progress made, but also the many challenges that remain to be faced.
"We requested this meeting to take stock of the intensive work over a 4-year period, which deserves respect and thanks for its commitment."
"While we move forward, the world flies by. And to catch up, to give our young people a serious and competitive academic offer, we must push forward with great force," Rama said, among other things, writes A2 CNN.
Rama added that Albania, on the eve of membership in the European Union, needs a review of the law on higher education, which, according to him, should reflect the experience accumulated so far, but also the latest developments in modern academic systems. (A2 Televizion)
