The Euro-Atlantic Coalition candidate for the Tirana district, Shemsi Prençi, has denounced on Facebook a case of what he claims was intimidation of citizens by Kamëz municipality employees, inside a polling station.
According to Prençi, all the directors of the Kamëz municipality "have lined up in front of the voting centers to intimidate citizens," so he calls on law enforcement agencies to take measures.
"In Kamëz, Bathore and Paskuqan, directors and employees of the Kamëz Municipality with badges around their necks line up at the entrances of schools and institutions where voting is held to guide the vote. The same thing happens at the "Tahir Sinani" school in Kodër i Kuqe, where the director of the Gaelbërim in the Kamëz Municipality, Prel Gjonpali, and 6 municipality employees with badges, block the entrance to the school and dictate to voters. The Euro-Atlantic Coalition calls on law enforcement agencies to take measures so that citizens are not intimidated by these people," Prençi writes alongside the video.
Meanwhile, in the published footage, Preçi can be heard asking the girl, whom he identifies as an employee of the Kamëz municipality, what her job is, while she avoids the camera.
