"This is the end, this is the language of Vladimirovich Putin. Well, that kind of justice never here. Never, never, never. We've seen that movie. Only at that time they didn't call him corrupt, but the enemy of the class."

This was Prime Minister Edi Rama's statement today, as he attacked the work of the new judiciary, writes A2 CNN.

Meanwhile, the head of the Weaving Initiative, Endri Shabani, has responded harshly to these statements, which, according to him, have the mission of defending corruption.

In the 'Debat' show with journalist Alba Alishani on A2 CNN, Shabani said that in Russia there is no independent justice system to arrest Vladimir Putin, but rather the opposite, that political opponents of the regime are handcuffed by order of the President.

Shabani also said that Rama, who according to him has imprisoned many Albanians for trivial things through harsh laws, should not worry when thieves are caught.

He added that universities buy a refrigerator for 5,000 euros and a blender for 3,500 euros. According to Shabani, a university that seeks to protect itself from justice is nothing more than a gang of thieves.

"It is the height of hypocrisy. Because in Russia there is no independent justice that goes to arrest Putin, it is the opposite. So it is Putin's justice that arrests political opponents. Second, today this man said 'we will treat double parking as a criminal offense', so he goes to prison. So he has been here since 2013 and until today, his solution for everything is prison.

During the pandemic, he proposed 5 years in prison for the ordinary Albanian if he left the house without his permission. 5 years in prison, he said then, he changed the penal code. If the poor man left the house, had he not looked at his Facebook, because the orders were there, he would have been sentenced to 5 years in prison. Today you worry that those who bought a 5 thousand euro refrigerator are going to prison.

"Blender 3,500 euros. He should tell the Austrians this. The university must be protected, he is right, but it must be protected from thieves, not from justice. Because a university that is protected from justice means that it is a gang of thieves," said Shabani, writes A2 CNN. (A2 Televizion)
