Belinda Balluku has responded harshly to the deputy Agron Shehaj, who in high tones demanded an account in the Assembly today, Speaker of Parliament Elisa Spiropali, when the interview requested by him with the Deputy Prime Minister will take place.
"Madam Speaker, I have been asking for an interview with Minister Balluku for 6 months. You have been putting it off for 6 months. How can something like this happen? Why do you hide from interpellations? May I know when you intend to allow it to happen, or do you expect the Parliament to be closed altogether", said Shehaj.
But Balluku in her reaction states that Shehaj has consciously avoided confronting her in the Assembly, even presenting a medical report when she went for questioning.
"I don't usually deserve to answer those who fight for power with balls of mud and not with arguments worthy of the vote that brought them here, but I have two words for the only cowardly Vlonja I've known, who screams his (to the point of noise pollution) reminds me of that movie Ben Walks Alone, when the kid goes through the forest at night and sings to overcome his fear. Now you, Goni, who decided to walk by yourself shouting like a frightened brave, received a medical report when I came to the parliament hall that you had asked for an interpellation. Furthermore, the deputy prime minister says that Shehaj's accusations are lies that he articulates with shouts. Balluku says that Shehaj is the same as the Democratic Party, the force from which he left, and that he will get the answer in the May 11 elections with the vote of the Albanians.
"It's just proof that you're the same as your former party mates and you'll get the same answer as they did on May 11, when unlike some of them who will come here again to light candles for the party that's gone for scrap, you'll to run away with the party, because Albanians always know who they should vote for, Albanians always know how to appreciate the work and not the shouts and screams of mud.
