Dorjan Teliti, adviser for the economy in the Democratic Party, has stated that the government's proposal for the remuneration of the administration employees for the new year is made in order to influence the 2025 elections.
Teliti made the comments in 'Diary from Denisa Pasholli' on A2 CNN, where he said that the Albanian administration has more than 40 thousand patrons.
He also added that the government has inflated the administration with partial contracts that do not appear at all in the registers, bringing the number of employees to more than 200,000.
"We have thousands of administration employees with partial contracts who do not appear at all. From 162 thousand employed in the state before, now there are over 200 thousand. Bloated administration, very bloated directorates. There are at least 40 thousand patrons.
We know very well what has happened with OSHEE, with the JSCs, with the regional directorates, with the reform of the Municipalities who said that the reform would save 80 million euros, while we have a municipal administration inflated by 30-40% of municipality to municipality.
Yesterday we found out about the reward. My position is this, that the reward for the public administration is welcome, but the problem is why the bag is always opened before the elections", said Teliti, writes A2 CNN.
