Sali Berisha believes that on May 11, he will be a winning force and will take control of the country. In a press conference, when asked about Edi Rama's prediction and the polls that show the Socialist Party as the winner, Berisha called them fraud and showed the results of the polls that the Democratic Party itself has conducted.
"Our polls show that in free elections, the absolute winner is the DP, and with free elections, the party of crime returns to 1992."
He claims that he has received guarantees for free elections from the European Union, as Brussels is closely monitoring the process in Albania, as he said.
"There are no longer closed eyes, but they are wide open and the spotlights, not only ours, but also those of Europe and our friends everywhere, are focused on this electoral process."
But if even this increased attention from the European Union does not guarantee free elections, Berisha, while announcing that they have filed the first complaints for electoral crimes, repeated the threat to the gangs that they will be declared terrorist organizations if they affect the vote of Albanians.
"We guarantee that electoral crime will be called a serious crime, it will be qualified as a serious crime and this is a solemn electoral commitment and that we will do everything to declare the criminal organizations that are engaging in electoral crime as terrorist organizations, not only by Albania, but also by the international factor."
He once again calls on his opponent to accept public debates in the media and accused Rama of using the mafia code of silence. (A2 Televizion)
