The chairman of the LZHK and at the same time the leader of the Right Coalition for Development, MP Dashamir Shehi, held a meeting with the Albanians of Italy.
The meeting was held in Fermingano Urbino and in addition to Mr. Shehi, present were Daniele Grossi, mayor of the Municipality of Sasscorvaro Pesaro Urbino, Ms. Arjana Kosova, president of the Albanian Teachers' Association in Italy, Mr. Ylber Dibra, president of the LZHK for the diaspora in Italy and Mr. Arben Muça, vice president of the LZHK.
During his speech, the Shehi said that Albanian immigrants everywhere in the world need solidarity with each other and not to get into trouble for political parties, writes A2 CNN.
Shehi also said that the coalition he represents, namely 'Right for Development', holds the number 9 on the ballot. He said that candidate Ylber Dibra will represent the Albanians of the diaspora in the May 11 elections.
"You are brothers, you are friends, you need solidarity with each other. You don't need to be divided over the vote, whether Dashi will enter Tirana or Edi Rama will enter. You don't need to sit in two different cafes here after the 12th, one pink and one blue.
The law was made to vote at your home, chatting with your wife... It was not made to vote in a club together in a collective way. The law was made to expand the space of freedom, not to prolong what is happening in Tirana and in the Diaspora. We have the number 9, but you vote as you feel in your soul.
Just don't be part of this big fight here. If Ylber hadn't invited me, I wouldn't have come. Because I've made this a political thesis, that politics is confusing the Albanians of the diaspora.
"We have put Ylber as the Diaspora candidate and president of the LZHK for Italy. Ylber also represents Shkodra, a great city that has given a lot to Albania. He will be here for you, to help solve your problems," said Shehi, writes A2 CNN.
