Yesterday there was a statement by the chairman of the CEC, Ilirjan Celibashi, which for me is scandalous and all media should deal with it. When asked by journalists what the standard is, whether democratic standards are being achieved, he stated: “We are very, very far, even very far from the democratic standards of Western countries.”
According to Harxhi, based on this statement, not only should the elections not be held, but also Chief Commissioner Celibashi should resign.
