Prime Minister Edi Rama said in an exclusive interview on "Off the Record" on A2 CNN, with journalist Andrea Danglli, that the May 11 elections are the most important for the country, because of the major objective that Albania has, that of full integration into the great European family.
"The May 11 elections will determine the strength that Albania will have to face the EU integration process, which we have as our objective the year 2027. For the first time since the fall of communism, the EU has opened the door to us and we must let it close. May 11 plays an important role in this regard," said Rama, writes A2 CNN.
According to him, the vote for the Socialist Party on May 11th, separates Albania from the past. "The separation from the past and especially from our past, as a country and people, is not a place, it is a process. And in fact the chains of the past have been very long and today there is one last link left to break. And with Albania's entry into the EU, the past is finally the past and the future becomes finally today", Rama added. (A2 Televizion)
