Candidate for MP reveals what the SP boasts about after 12 years in power

One in five deputies from the total Socialist Party lists come from the "Deputy We Want" platform.

And these candidates, according to the co-founder of this platform, Romina Kuko, are idealistic people who did not learn politics through what she described as "the judo of the bettors."

"They are outstanding individuals who I believe will perform very well," said Kuko, invited on Sunday evening to "Off the Record" by Andrea Danglli, adding that some of them decided to compete in open lists to test themselves.

Meanwhile, when asked how realistic the electoral promise of Socialist leader Edi Rama for the "European passport" can be called, the candidate for MP stated that it is a symbolic way of expressing the work done to date to bring Albania closer to the European family.

And if things don't go well and Albania could "miss the train," Kuko added that the Socialist Party will commit to creating a European Albania, with the standards that apply in the Union.

And regarding the fact that Albanians are increasingly leaving, Kuko says that in the next four years, if it wins, the SP will have more "aggressive" policies to keep citizens in the country, or even to create the conditions for those who have left to return and invest their money and knowledge in their homeland.

Having said all this, what does the Socialist Party boast about today?

"You just have to go out and look at any city in Albania and see that what we called the Urban Renaissance was the vanguard of the country's development. It was the first step to giving a face to cities. To not have those cities that you couldn't tell where you were going," Kuko explained. (A2 Televizion)
