Romina Kuko, Deputy Minister of Interior, President of the Tirana Municipal Council, is also a candidate for deputy from the Socialist Party in the Korça Region. In the show "Off the Record" with Andrea Danglli on A2 CNN, she spoke about why the Socialist Party needs another 4-year mandate.
"Let us consider this long period as a very long project, which we have undertaken almost from the beginning and are now leading towards the crowning glory of EU membership. The achieved 4-year mandate is the mandate of sealing integration and finally ending a very long ordeal of exceptions in which Albania has been in these difficult years for politics.
"This mandate is needed to create the necessary stability and advance reforms, to sign that treaty with the EU, and to leave a mark in history so that we can consider the debt we owe to our parents and children as repaid," said Kuko. (A2 Televizion)
