Agron Malaj has submitted his resignation as mayor of Mat, as he will be a candidate for deputy of the Socialist Party in the May 11 elections, A2 CNN reports.
The Municipal Council will meet on Wednesday to approve Malaj's request and to elect a deputy mayor to carry out the mayor's duties until new elections.
According to what A2 CNN has learned, Malaj will be on the SP list for the Dibër district. (A2 Televizion)
