Prime Minister Edi Rama, in his conversation with followers on social media, also spoke about aspects of his personal life.
"Anyone who knows me knows very well that I don't work to live, I live to work. I live to do things, not to consume things. Anyone who knows me knows very well that since I became prime minister, I may have gone out to restaurants 30 times in total over 12 years. That's a lot. And of these, 25 were probably with my family. It's a big sacrifice for the family, for our children, but that's how it is," Rama said, writes A2.
"All the imagined or promoted pleasures of eating and drinking, anyone who knows me knows very well that I have nothing to do with these. Of course, I enjoy a good meal when I have the opportunity, but I can go without eating for two days. I do it because of the benefits that this has for the body. If you manage to do a 48-hour cycle with only water, it is a positive thing for the body. It is the most normal thing for me to generally eat a meal at dinner and at home regularly. At lunch, at that table back there (pointing to the office table) if I eat lunch," said Rama.
