Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha has 'exploded' into accusations against the Socialists from the Parliament's rostrum, following the arrest of Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj.
During his speech on the podium, Berisha addressed the socialists, telling them that they were afraid they would be arrested for his speech in Parliament, writes A2 CNN.
The former Prime Minister added that he was defending the interests of citizens and said that the time of the SP government was over.
"Now don't do that, because I won't arrest you on my word. You have become so afraid that you think Sali Berisha will arrest you in Parliament. No, no. I am defending the interests of Albanian citizens, whom you have trampled on in a terrible way. Yes, yes, but your time is up. I came, it's our turn," Berisha said in Parliament, writes A2 CNN.
