The Democratic Party's municipal councilors have sent a request to the chairwoman of the Tirana Municipal Council, Megi Fino, and the secretary, Behar Zeneli, regarding tomorrow's meeting of this council. The letter from the democratic councilors requests that the media be present during this meeting, which will start at 1:00 PM, reports A2 CNN.
According to them, this is a repeated request for two years by the Democrats.
Councilor Dorian Teliti accompanies the request published on social networks with a post about the right to transparency of every citizen and respect for the law.
"Media freedom is vital. The right of the media to follow the Tirana Municipal Council meetings live in the hall is their legal right. The right of every citizen to transparency on the decisions that are made for them and on their behalf is a constitutional right!", Teliti writes alongside the request.
