The EU Ambassador to Tirana, Silvio Gonzato, held a meeting with the head of the CEC, Celibashi, this Friday, on the progress of the electoral process and the preparation of the May 11 elections, where they then spoke to the media.
All findings of the OSCE/ODIHR report were deemed accurate by the CEC. Meanwhile, Gonzato, when asked about the $6 million lobbying contract of the Democratic Party in the US, the EU ambassador declined to comment.
Gonzato said that he is still awaiting assessments from both the ODIHR and CEC final reports regarding issues debated in the media related to the issue of lobbying or the administration's involvement in the elections. (A2 Televizion)
