The CEC tested the platform for the registration of Albanians who live abroad and will vote in the 2025 parliamentary elections. The head of the CEC, together with the specialists, explained the steps to be followed from the creation of the profile to the registration of documents, while giving full guarantees for security.
"The platform has two phases; the first stage of creating an account profile of each applicant and in a second moment can apply to be registered in the voter list from abroad. We have built it this way to enable any foreign voter whether or not they have a valid identification document to access the platform, create their profile and register to be a foreign voter for a period of 60 - daily. The system will be accessible online from any location. We will also be at the CEC online. When you access your bank account from home, you are safe. This CEC operator will be equally safe. It will have the same access and communication protocol with its account as an operator as you have as a bank account user."
