Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has congratulated Socialist leader Edi Rama on his victory in the May 11 elections.
Through a post on the social network 'X', Sanchez, while calling Rama's achievement on May 11 a great victory, further writes that Albanians massively support efforts to bring Albania into the European Union.
Sanchez's congratulations join those that Rama has previously received from Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
"Congratulations Edi Rama on the great victory of the Socialist Party in the elections. Albanians overwhelmingly support efforts to bring Albania into the European Union," Sanchez wrote on the social network 'X'.
