The leader of the "Nisma-Albania Becomes" coalition, Adriatik Lapaj, during an electoral meeting held this evening with the citizens of Tirana in the Xhamlliku area, asked that with their vote they turn May 12 into a day of hope.
Lapaj described May 11 as a key moment for the country's future and warned that May 12 could become " the day of the great exodus " if citizens do not make a bold decision for change. He emphasized that this political confrontation is not just about mandates or power, but about the fate of a nation that, according to him, is tired of injustice and abuse.
" If on May 11th the new fails in the face of those who have done every evil to this country for 34 years, May 12th will be the day when the great exodus from this country will begin ," he said.
During his speech, Lapaj said that the daily life of ordinary Albanians is characterized by fear, pressure and blackmail that, according to him, are still exerted on citizens. " People say: I am afraid to speak out because they will ruin my legalization. I am afraid that they will impose fines on me in business. I have children at work and they are afraid for themselves ," Lapaj declared.
He called for courage and active participation in the elections, stressing that a lack of reaction from citizens will send a dangerous message to the old political elite "that they can continue to abuse, because citizens do not react."
" If you give them this message again, they will steal from you more, they will beat you more. Because they will say: 'They took boys and girls with education and a name, but this people left them in the lurch.' And this should not happen again ," Lapaj warned.
" Please, don't turn May 12 into a day of great disappointment. Turn it into a day of great hope ," Lapaj stressed. (A2 Televizion)
