The Freedom Party Convention is being held in Tirana today, announced yesterday by the Secretary General of the Freedom Party, Tedi Blushi, through an announcement on social networks.
The meeting started at 11:00 and is taking place in the meeting room of the Namazgja Mosque, writes A2 CNN.
During the Convention, high-ranking exponents of this party spoke to the attendees, but patriotic songs, the flag anthem, and cheers were also present.
The President of the Liberal Party, Ilir Meta, is also expected to speak from prison at this meeting. This will be the first time that Meta has addressed his supporters live from prison since his arrest.
We recall that Meta has been in prison 313 in Tirana for several months by order of SPAK, on charges of corruption, abuse of office and concealment of assets. (A2 Televizion)
