Electoral Administration Zones are established and operate for each type of election and referendum. The territorial jurisdiction of the EAZs, as a rule, is the same as the administrative territory of the municipality. Municipalities with more than 80 thousand citizens with the right to vote are divided by the CEC into more than one Electoral Administration Zone.
The Electoral Administration Zone Commission (KZAZ) is a commission that functions as a collegial body and is established no later than 90 days before the election date. The KZAZ consists of 7 members and 1 secretary. The Municipality of Vlora has a total of 4 zonal election administration commissions, the same as it has had in previous electoral processes.
