President Donald Trump's envoy for special missions, Richard Grenell, has reacted to an article published in the media, where he is considered an undeclared lobbyist of Prime Minister Rama. According to published news, Grenell has tried to include in the agenda of President Trump's son a visit to Tirana to meet Prime Minister Rama. According to the media, Trump Jr. canceled the meeting with Rama in Tirana lobbied by Richard Grenell.

Grenell reacted on social media, where he also attached the article, asking the Director of Communications at the Democratic Party, Alfred Lela, to deny it as there is no truth to it.

"Dear Alfred Lela, I understand that you are days away from an important election. I understand that emotions are high. I have watched your election in silence because Albania is an important and trusted ally of America in NATO (and one of my favorite places to visit and vacation). But this story from your media is a total lie. It should be corrected immediately and removed if you care about the facts," Grenell wrote.

Meanwhile, President Trump's son also reacted by reposting Grenell's reaction on Twitter.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Edi Rama, during a meeting this afternoon in Petrela, stated that the American president's family members were forced to deny the opposition's madness.

"Today he brought it into play through a tweet that also keeps President Trump's family close. According to him, I had made an attempt to go to Belgrade, that's why I didn't go to the Pope, I was trying to go to Belgrade because Trump had his son there, but that wasn't possible because it failed.
