Ahead of the March 15 protest against the closure of TikTok, Sali Berisha is also demanding strong actions from students, who he expects will revolt by boycotting classes on Monday. The democratic leader claimed that the boycott of classes is the start of the protest, which will only stop with the reopening of this social network.
"You have the right to start strikes and your strike is to boycott classes. From Monday, for example, the first hour, it would be a great thing to miss as much as possible. I call on parents not to send their children to school on Monday, at least for the first hour ," Berisha said.
He compares the closure of TikTok to censorship under communism. The leader of the Democrats promises that if he gains the trust of Albanians on May 11, his first act as prime minister will be to reopen the social network.
"The decision on the first day of the government will be the immediate release, the lifting of the TikTok block and the indictment of Edi Rama for the major act of censorship and public fraud. He says he has consulted over 60 thousand parents, an unscrupulous fraudster ," said Berisha.
The lawsuit against Rama will not be the only act, as Berisha also promises to extradite the head of government to the US, implying the Prime Minister's legal problems with American justice.
"I guarantee that Edi Rama will be extradited to the US after May 11. He is awaiting extradition. Or then they will come to be tried here, a joint trial. But rather he should go to where he committed the crime!", emphasized the democratic leader.
Regarding the "Greater Albania" coalition, the opposition leader stated that he has not yet decided how the small allies will position themselves on the list of candidates for MPs, but he singles out one of them in his assessment.
"Kujtim Gjuzi 100 times better than Rama for prime minister." (A2 Televizion)
