Democrats will return to the square before the end of the year. Sali Berisha announced that the next act of civil disobedience will be on December 23, describing it as the most powerful movement so far.
"December 23 will be the day of the most powerful national disobedience that Albania has known until today. "Democrats from all over Albania and wherever they are in the world should join 23 in a civil disobedience that should have the power of electroshock for the narco-dictatorial regime of Edi Rama," said Berisha, reports A2 CNN.
In addition to the protests, the Democratic Party has also engaged in the international arena against the government of Edi Rama, lobbying to approve three resolutions so far in the forums of right-wing parties. According to Berisha, this shows that Rama is being isolated internationally. "Never would three resolutions be voted on in less than a month for one country. But the allies have been made aware that we are dealing with a narco-dictator. Let's say what it is, Edi Rama is in the red circle".
The resolutions will not be the only step for the Democrats in relation to the partners. The leader of the opposition claimed that as soon as Donald Trump officially takes the leadership of the White House, he will start lobbying for the abolition of the American nongrata. "I am waiting for the surrender of power on their part, so that I can begin my efforts to present this act that will remain, in the history of democracy, as a black stain for those who decided it."
During the press conference, the leader of the Democratic Party confirmed again the readiness of the opposition for any change in the Electoral Code to facilitate voting from abroad as much as possible. (A2 Televizion)
