"I think that every day that Meta is there is a big stone in the head of those who are doing it." This is what the MP of the Freedom Party, Petrit Vasili, said in the Midday Diary by Denisa Pasholli on A2 CNN, as he spoke about Ilir Meta and his situation with justice.
Vasili stressed that SPAK's actions come "in the spirit of the mafia and not in the spirit of the law", while adding that there is no evidence against Meta and therefore those who are keeping him in prison will face the law.
"In the first place, they have to invest to save their heads because they are immersed in an illegality. Their actions come from the mafia, not the law. For Meta, there are zero proofs and facts, that these do not save you at all. At the same time, add kidnapping...every second will be a day in jail for those who are doing it.
Meta leads the Freedom Party. The party, because of this legal restriction, motivates much more. I repeat that every day is worse for those who did it because they will be punished worse. They used two standards and they are very serious crimes that cannot be amnestied", said Vasili.
As for the situation of the opposition, the MP of the Freedom Party said that today it is in one of its best moments.
