About an hour before the deadline to appear at SPAK expired, former Prime Minister Sali Berisha addressed the Parliament hall, where the 2024 budget will be discussed in a marathon session.
Asked by journalists if he will go to the Special Prosecutor's Office to implement the security measure imposed on him for the "Partizani" file, Berisha said that he will never implement Edi Rama's orders.
He stopped at the prosecutor of the "Partizani" case, the former head of SPAK Arben Kraja, accusing him of being a former officer of the State Security, who, according to Berisha, should stay away from the judiciary.
" Today I appeared in the Parliament, I can never accept the embezzlement that Edi Rama makes to the Parliament. It is an order of Edi Rama, issued through incriminated mercenaries such as Arben Kraja, who remains in office in violation of the Constitution and the law of the Prosecutor's Office, which brings him out as a former insurance officer, "said Berisha .
Berisha also accused the judge Irena Gjoka, who gave the decision to "compulsion to appear" and to stop him from leaving the Albanian territory, as a person who implements the orders of the Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla.
