The Albanian government signed an agreement with the Albanian-American Development Fund for a project that will transform the fortress of the city of Elbasan. Prime Minister Edi Rama said that this project will also put Elbasan on the tourism map in Albania, along with other projects such as the motor park.
According to him, Durrës, Dibra and Elbasan are 3 poles around the metropolis of Tirana. "The castle of Elbasan has an extraordinary potential", said Rama, reports A2 CNN. "We will have a large increase in the number of visitors in the neighborhood and this will cause the value of the houses in the neighborhood to increase. In Elbasan we will have a new pole of metropolitan Tirana".
