FRPD leader Besart Xhaferri revealed on the "Off the Record" show on A2 CNN details of the democrats' organization for the protest called the next day in front of SPAK, when their leader Sali Berisha will appear before the Special Prosecution Office.
Xhaferri did not hesitate to compare the DP's rallies in front of SPAK with those of supporters of Mayor Erion Veliaj, while the latter's security measures were being verified by the GJKKO.
He emphasized that unlike the municipality employees and SP sympathizers who, according to him, intimidated judges and prosecutors, the DP has notified the police about the protest and there will be a cordon there to maintain order and security.
"First we gather at that square with a police cordon, we announce it, there is a security cordon. We want to convey a political message. Mr. Berisha himself conveys the political message when he speaks. We are not carrying out a coup, nor intimidation of judges, nor anything else, because the Ministry of Interior itself will take the appropriate measures. Because Mr. Berisha's case is a baseless case. But we are not risking the lives of SPAK prosecutors, nor the lives of GJKKO judges, nor the order and security there, because there is a guarantee from the state police themselves," said Besart Xhaferri in "Off the Record" by Andrea Danglli on A2 CNN.
He also had a comment on Sali Berisha's strong statement from Friday's media conference, where he called on Prime Minister Edi Rama to stop the protests against SPAK.
"The statement that Mr. Berisha gave to the Prime Minister of Albania is that the prosecutors and judges were truly left alone there. Because at the moment when the government itself protests against justice and undermines, boycotts the protection of that constitutional institution, it seems clear that they are really attacking it. The protest that was seen last week where all the employees, all the people with benefits, who were forced for their lives, for their bread and butter to come out to that protest, shows that it was completely staged. There was a really big pressure from the executive against justice," declared Besart Xhaferri in "Off the Record" by Andrea Danglli on A2 CNN. (A2 Televizion)
