The Albanian Parliament approved today with 76 votes in favor a decision that extends the validity of expired identity cards and passports, only for those citizens who will vote from outside Albania in the May 11 elections.
A2 CNN reports that this decision comes as an effort, initiated by the opposition, to give Albanian immigrants the opportunity to participate in the May 11 elections, regardless of whether they have expired documents.
