The Democratic Party - Alliance for a Greater Albania coalition has appealed to the Complaints and Sanctions Commission (KAS) the results of the May 11 parliamentary elections for the Gjirokastra and Vlora districts.
Following complaints filed for the Kukës, Berat and Korçë districts, the DP is demanding that the election results in the entire Gjirokastra and Vlora districts be declared invalid and that the voting be repeated.
Meanwhile, the Central Election Commission has concluded and formalized the electoral process by certifying the results for all 12 regions of the country, with the Socialist Party winning 83 mandates, while the PD-ADSHM coalition has secured 50 deputies in the new Assembly. (A2 Televizion)
