The President of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has thanked the 8,000 Albanians who voted for him in the May 11 parliamentary elections.
During a telephone conversation with journalists, Meta 'stabbed' Endrit Braimllari without mentioning him by name, whom he said betrayed his friends and comrades.
He also said that Braimllari submitted to the patronage agents a list of 12,000 names of people who would vote for candidate Ilir Meta in the May 11 elections, writes A2 CNN.
Meta added that he did this because he expected to become the Secretary General of the Freedom Party, writes A2 CNN.
"I thank the 8,000 heroes who voted for Ilir Meta, who was kidnapped in a terrorist manner under the signature of Altin Dumani. I thank all those comrades and friends who worked and were betrayed by a scoundrel, who, on my orders, has been declared non grata in the Freedom Party."
He handed over the list of 12,000 names that Ilir Meta's friends, acquaintances, and well-wishers had made to vote for Ilir Meta to the patronage workers. He did it because he expected to become the general secretary of the PL instead of Tedi Blushi...", Meta said, writes A2 CNN. (A2 Televizion)
