The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has stated that Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama is similar in his behavior and actions to the mafioso Toto Rina.
Berisha made the comments through a statement to the media, where he commented on Rama's meeting yesterday with the newly elected MPs, among whom there are also names with many question marks, regarding the way in which the record results of the number of votes were achieved.
Berisha said that Rama's meeting yesterday with these MPs elected on May 11 was similar to the meetings that Toto Rina held with his associates, writes A2 CNN.
According to Berisha, the prime minister threatened these new collaborators through SPAK (who, according to him, are placed by criminal groups), showing Albanians, according to him, that the whip in Rama's hands is the Special Prosecution Office itself.
Excerpt from Berisha's speech:
Yesterday afternoon, as Albanians saw it, a meeting took place before their eyes, in all its dimensions, character and spirit, as if Toto Rina were meeting his collaborators.
This meeting, in which, from the analysis of the faces, you will not find a single smile, no head movement, no reaction, as if it were a mortal meeting, and such was the party of the electoral farce.
This meeting with his narco-deputies, with representatives of the most dangerous gangs in Albania, the region and Europe, drug cartels, the Troplini cartel, Arkend Ballë, Ani Dyrmiš, Drazhin, etc., Sara Milen and the Elbasan cartel group, representatives of the Shytëve, Julian of Pashako, Renato Salihi and Arben Qimes, respectively Klosi, the Tezaku or not, who knows, of Belinda, Klodian Jahja, Koreshi and other representatives of the Bajre, of Tuk, respectively Shkodër and Lezha, Tërmet Peqëve and many other representatives of the criminal world.
At this meeting, Edi Rama told the Albanians that his whip is Spaku. The movements, if you will, told them, here you have Spaku who is in my hands, knowing that they are a series of representatives of crime.
He didn't show Spaku only to them, but to their real masters who put them on the lists.
Even Enver Hoxha would hardly have been able to achieve such a threatening meeting.
He spoke about Altin, just like Enver spoke about Arianit.
So, Albanians learned that the electoral farce produced a narco-parliament, which began the day's meeting without even entering the hall, lashing out with Spak as its whip. (A2 Televizion)
