From CEAZ No. 84 in Vlora, where the counting has just concluded, Defense Minister Pirro Vëngu stated that the result is within expectations, exceeding the result of the 2021 elections. According to Minister Vëngu, the process has been calm, also reflecting the calm of the campaign.
"It was within expectations, we even had a deep difference compared to 21, a good result in Novoselë, Shushica with record results. This reflects the intensive campaign we have done during these months. I had the privilege of encouraging the entire team. The expansion of the playing field, the vote of the diaspora has influenced the articulation of the new ambition. We are here seeing the progressive conclusion in the Vlora CEAZ. We must be careful to count every vote. It was a calm counting process, it reflected the calm of the campaign and everyone involved should be congratulated."
Asked about the turnout in these elections, which is 4% less than in 2021, Vëngu said that there are several elements that have had an impact, such as the Giro D'Italia.
"There are some elements that may have had an impact, we had the Giro D'Italia which may have had an impact so we asked for the deadline to be extended. We were not given the opportunity so we are in these conditions today. The expectation is to continue implementing the CEC's instructions."
The same opinion is shared by the head of the Vlora District Council, Eduart Moçka, according to whom in CEAZ 84, which covers all administrative units, the SP has received a satisfactory result, exceeding the 2021 result. (A2 Televizion)
