Edi Rama handed over the Port of Durres to the Troplini cartel. This was stated by the Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha in the studio of Debate with Alba Alishani on A2 CNN, continuing the denunciations for the May 11 elections. According to the Democratic Party leader, not a single gram of drugs has been seized in this port for 3 years, while he emphasizes that this cartel controls every employee and every square meter of this port.
"What happened on May 11th for every Albanian who believes that the vote is a value and who believes that for him and his children he should decide with his representatives and not the most dangerous drug cartels in Europe which today dispose of the Port of Durres as a free port for drugs. Not even a gram has been seized for 3 years. Since 2020 it has been handed over to the Troplini clan and there they control every appointee, every square meter, guard and crane and simple employee in the administration, handing over the largest port in the country to the Troplini cartel."
Berisha emphasizes that Edi Rama empowered him to an extraordinary extent, causing the cartel to place whatever it wanted on Rama's open and closed list.
"This cartel placed on the closed list those it wanted and took it upon itself to include from the open list those it wanted with the aim of high ministerial positions. Where do we have the facts? During the campaign, I repeatedly denounced that Elvis Doçi, Suel Çela, Ergys Agasi, Vangjush Dako were at the Kodra e Kavaje bar in Shkëmbi i Kavajës. After my denunciations, they were moved to Dako's house where the prime minister also attended."
According to Berisha, the Troplini cartel candidate received 5,000 more votes than Edi Rama in 2021.
"The result is that the Troplini cartel, their candidate, received 20 thousand votes and was a candidate for interior minister. He received 21 thousand votes, 5 thousand votes more than Rama in 2021. Poja dominates the Durrës gangs." (A2 Televizion)
