Dashamir Shehi accepts defeat and takes responsibility for the outcome of the May 11 elections. He has therefore decided to step down from the leadership of the "Right for Development" coalition, but will continue to lead the party he founded.

" This is a responsibility that I personally bear, the burden of defeat, and for this reason I am stepping down from the leadership of the Coalition to make way for people younger than me and more energetic ," said Dashamir Shehi.

Enkelejd Alibeaj, who joined the coalition with the party created a few months before the elections, also feels responsible for the loss. He also claims that there will be a reflection, but adds that he will continue the battle for the principles and program presented in the campaign.

"This result is not a shame, I chose it myself two or three years ago, I could have chosen another path, but I chose the right path, to fight the old one always in the public interest. Apparently this attitude is a rare commodity. Politically this was the end, but activism was not ," said Enkelejd Alibeaj.

They also see positive elements from these elections, the entry into the Assembly of new political forces, where they once again extended a hand of cooperation to be on a common front against the socialist majority. (A2 Televizion)
