Dash Shehi accepts defeat, resigns from the Right for National Development

After the defeat in the May 11 elections, Dash Shehi resigns from the Right for National Development. In a press conference, the leader of this coalition said that he takes responsibility for the defeat in the elections and is leaving, paving the way for others.

"I accept defeat and take responsibility, I resign from the leadership of the coalition," said Shehi.

The Right for National Development, led by Dash Shehi, failed to win a single mandate in the May 11 elections.

He calls the elections a farce and said that closed lists, diaspora votes, and the lack of commissioners produced this result.

According to Shehi, the only positive thing about these elections was that new parties broke the siege.

"There was a positive element from the elections; the new parties broke the siege and well done to them. I hope they produce better political synergy. That's the only good thing about these elections," he emphasized. (A2 Televizion)
