The vote counting in the Gjirokastra district is also nearing its end. Official CEC data shows that 197 out of 198 ballot boxes have been counted so far, with the Socialist Party receiving 62% of the votes, or 3 mandates, and the DP receiving 29% of the votes, translated into one mandate.
But while the political leader of the district, Mirela Kumbaro, is on the safe list of the SP, who are the two most voted names?
From the CEC data we also learn that with one box left uncounted, the name of the former mayor of Tepelena Tërmet Peçi is leading with 5967 votes, followed by the mayor Anila Dhimitri with 3128 votes. Then come Piro Dhima with 2582 and Shyqyri Hysi with 1566 votes. (A2 Televizion)
