Prime Minister Edi Rama, in a meeting on the Shëngjin-Velipoja axis with business representatives, declared that "the completion of this new road is a moment of relief because with this road we reveal to Albanians and tourists a magical part of Albania that was inaccessible until yesterday."
"We strengthen the support of the local economy of Lezha and Shkodra with this road. I am very optimistic about the stock of new entrepreneurial projects in Lezha and Shkodra, but also of many others, because they are projects of a different generation in all directions. We have gathered a unique network of architects, who will be part of the architecture biennale in Venice", said Rama, writes A2.
"Aim for maximum quality. We will be very supportive, but also very rigorous for these new spaces. We have made mistakes in the development of our coast in the past, not counting the absurd construction frenzy, made at the beginning of the transition. But, taking advantage of our experience, but also those we have attracted to our dance of Europeanization of Albania. This is one of the most beautiful areas in Europe, it deserves a development with the highest European standards. The need to increase the capacity of energy supply is very great and the project for the new substation in Shëngjin is ready and will start construction. We also have the project to strengthen the network in the Alps, which will affect all points. So, the plan is for these substations to support the needs for many years, taking into account new investments", Rama added.
"We also have the project to connect the Tale area with the coast through internal roads. We also have the Shengjin bypass," the prime minister further emphasized. (A2 Televizion)
