After the decision of the Constitutional Court, which overturned the complaint of small parties about the closed lists, Lulzim Basha also reacted. In a post on social networks, Basha, this court cannot rise to the height dictated by the fundamental law of the state and the mass will of the Albanians.
"The Constitutional Court, even today, showed that it cannot rise to the height dictated by the fundamental law of the state and the massive will of the Albanians, who demand change and not submission. An institution gripped by the anxiety of preserving its seats can have neither the independence nor the clarity to make a decision in the interest of the citizens."
Basha accuses Prime Minister Rama and Democratic leader Sali Berisha of buying the vote on May 11 and says he will not surrender to these injustices.
"History teaches us that every achievement towards freedom, equality and rights has come through the continuous efforts and unity of people. Although the road is difficult and full of obstacles, it is not impossible. We will not give up in the face of these injustices, which stem from the Rama-Berisha deal to prevent the right of Albanians to vote for their deputies. Albanians now have one more reason to reject this bargain with their vote on May 11. Albania deserves more" , writes Basha. (A2 Televizion)
