During the next electoral stop in Gjirokastra, Prime Minister Edi Rama once again mocked the Democratic Party and its leader Sali Berisha for the lobbying contract in the US worth 6 million dollars. Referring to Lulzim Basha's former blunder "7x7=42", Rama said that now "7x7 has become 6 million". He expressed his irony towards the DP's claims about the MAGA foundation, through which the lobbying was allegedly financed.
"Suddenly, 3 patriots from the same family were born in the heart to take out 6 million to protect Albania from me and you and show America how beautiful the swamp is. It is surprising how then, in the swamps, it is said what are these 6 million, this is nothing with what the narco regime has done, what Rama has done with the government, this is the end".
Rama criticized the lack of transparency about the source of funds for this lobbying, calling it absurd and comparing it to a political “swamp.” He alluded to possible manipulations and violations related to this contract.
Following his speech, he highlighted the government's achievements in terms of tourism and infrastructure development, taking Gjirokastra as an example.
"Out of the 6 thousand tourists that Gjirokastra was expecting, last year it was visited by 600 thousand tourists. This is proof of how the renaissance has transformed a city that was left to die."
Rama also unveiled the vision for Albania 2030, presenting it as a modern, developed, integrated country with a stable economy. (A2 Televizion)
