Albania's relationship with France has entered a new phase. This was stated by Prime Minister Edi Rama at the joint press conference with French President Emmanuel Macron, as he also spoke about the agreements signed between the two countries.
"It is a special honor, but also an extraordinary sense of prosperity that in such a short time the President of France revisits Albania and stays for another bilateral visit, which gives us great pride, but also much gratitude for this strong impetus from the President and the Republic of France in relations with Albania that have entered a new and previously unknown phase. This time, we have taken stock of the work accomplished after the first historic visit of the President, who was the first head of state of France to visit Albania, and we have continued to sign other agreements to deepen cooperation in the areas predetermined in the framework agreement between the two governments. It is a special privilege that Albania hosts the European Political Community and that together with the President and a group of countries we have pushed this Community project to the point where there is now full consensus from all the constituent countries."
Following the summit of the European Political Community, French President Emmanuel Macron is paying an official visit to our country today. This morning, President Macron, accompanied by the French Ambassador to Tirana, was received at the Prime Minister's Office by Prime Minister Edi Rama.
This is the French president's second official visit in a short time, but the first accompanied by his wife, Brigitte.
Yesterday, the declaration of cooperation for the France-Albania Innovation Action Plan was signed, which, among other things, gives the green light to "Ecole 42", the prestigious French coding school. (A2 Televizion)
