Edi Rama, at a meeting in Shkodra, gave a summary of the government's investments in the last decade in this region.
The leader of the Socialist Party stressed that the Municipality of Shkodra is the most unaffected by the Albanian government's investments in the last decade, as it was led by the Democrats, who, according to him, have refused cooperation, writes A2.
"Unlike all other districts, there has been a hole in this district for 10 years. The hole belongs to the Municipality of Shkodra. Until Beneti took office here, there was no talk of projects here. In a decade, Shkodra has received less investment in this district. Not that we didn't want to, but we didn't have cooperation. However, there is one thing that makes me very proud, but it is one of the many myths artificially created, without any basis. You have heard the phrase: "Edi Rama doesn't love the north, he doesn't love northerners. In that complicated family tree, I have it in my roots. I have been very connected to the history of Shkodra. My Catholic grandmother has influenced me a lot. I had the privilege of having Father Zef Pëllumbi as a friend," said Rama, before starting his resume.
"Here, 315 kilometers of internal roads in the Shkodra region in a decade. Today, 95% of the territory has accessible roads, either with white roads or with asphalt roads. More than a quarter of a billion euros of investments for the Shkodra region: 414 projects. Urban reconstruction: nearly 50 million euros, and here we are talking about Malësi e Madhe, Pukë, Fushë-Arrëz, Vau i Dejës and here a considerable part has now entered and is the Shkodra Municipality.
Water supply and sewage: 73 million euros have been invested so far in 43 projects.
Energy: 124 projects, 809 million euros of investments.
Agriculture: 43 million euros of support for the Shkodra region.
Education: here it is a pity that we do not have more, but now it has started to change due to the new school projects in Shkodra.
Health: 19 million euros, 56 projects.
Culture: 3.5 million euros, with "I believe that Bennet will go further.
The government's total investment for the Shkodra region: 1.31 billion euros," Rama said. (A2 Televizion)
