Sali Berisha compared Edi Rama's meeting with socialist MPs to the meetings of Ramiz Ali's Politburo at the end of the communist regime, where, as he said, justice was getting out of hand.
The opposition leader calls the head of government's claims against the Special Prosecution Office as justifications, as according to him, Erion Veliaj was sacrificed to save Olsi Rama.
"He wanted at all costs to cover the bargain he had made with Altin Dumani, the exchange of Erion Veliaj for Olsi Rama. I believe that no one was left without understanding that Erion Veliaj was the price that was paid for Olsi."
When asked if he would join forces with the Socialist Party to change the Justice Reform, he denied such an action, but added that the redesign would only be done by the Democratic Party when it comes to power.
"I will never unite my votes with a criminal organization in power. No. I have declared, Albanians will vote for the Democratic Party and its government will engage the most serious institutions in the world, the most capable, which is the Venice Commission."
He has a different approach to the Electoral Code. After ultimatums in the last two weeks that he would not give a single vote for the changes requested by the Socialists, Berisha made a 180-degree change of course, claiming that the Democrats will approve all the amendments on the Diaspora.
"Tomorrow they will vote because there are two moments that seriously damage the process if they are not voted on. We will not be the reason for the diaspora's votes to be thrown in the trash. What are these moments? One moment is that all those who have applied must receive their ballot in an envelope, but packing 200 thousand envelopes takes a while, doesn't it?"
Returning to the Prime Minister's messages to socialist MPs, the opposition leader revealed who, according to him, is behind sending information under the guise of digital citizen to Edi Rama's phone.
"Digital Citizen, you found out who it was. Ulsi Manja and Irena Gjoka. They were, they will produce a witness to refute me."
There was also a call for Erion Veliaj's supporters who gathered at the doors of SPAK, warning them that if this happens again during working hours, they will be identified and risk not working in the state for 25 years. (A2 Televizion)
