MP Enkelejd Alibeaj, co-leader of the Right for Development coalition, has stated that the city of Durrës and all of Albania has been taken hostage by crime.
Alibeaj made the comments during a meeting he held with Mr. Dashamir Shehi and other leaders of the 'Right for Development' coalition with citizens in Durrës.
Alibeaj said that the vote for the 'Right for Development' coalition with number 9 on the ballot is a vote to leave the past behind and embrace the values of family and the West.
"The problems that this city has are the problems that all of Albania has. This city, the most important city in historical and economic terms, cannot be a prey to crime. This is a symptom that has covered all of Albania, directly resulting from the mismanagement of Edi Rama.
"We are here today to tell the citizens of Durrës that the old and the past must be put aside. They must vote for themselves, for their people. So for the citizens of Durrës. This is our alternative, to vote for number 9, to vote for themselves," said Alibeaj. (A2 Televizion)
