SPAK did not find evidence involving Olsi Rama in the "Xibraka" file, Rama: My brother was used as cannon fodder

Prime Minister Edi Rama addressed the citizens on Sunday with a message and reaction regarding the accusations raised by the opposition for the inclusion of his brother Olsi Rama in the "Xibraka" file.

The head of the government said, among other things, that until now he had refused to comment on this issue, as he said, he was waiting for the verdict of justice.

"So, with facts and evidence, not with conjectures and fabrications, it is abundantly clear that my brother was used as cannon fodder, to hit me and bring me down in the eyes of public opinion. Now, this is not the hit the first of this kind for me - there is no way it will be the last - from a so-called democratic party, which is the historical hostage of a tar with paint, which has grabbed that party by the throat, since its birth and has used it as a private bowel, to pour out in public all the needs of a vulgar political war, without any respect for the truth, for the person, for Albania and the Albanian language...," added Rama.

Rama emphasized that his brother is in his job, and that he has never asked for or received any favor from the Prime Minister.

The head of the government emphasized the same for his wife Linda, and for their daughter, for whom he emphasized that they have never been in situations where they might have had a conflict of interest.

On this occasion, he clarified other accusations raised by the opposition over the years against him.

"They made me a schizophrenic, they even fabricated my ID card. I have never had any mental health problems. I was accused by a big scumbag, with a medical degree. They made me with 200 apartments in Albania and Europe. I didn't want to have another apartment. That's how I saw things when I was young. I wanted to be free from any real estate. When God blessed us with another child, we built a house of our own. They made me with a mansion. No, that house has nothing to do with a mansion. A quarter of a century of accusations, without a quarter of a proof. Anyone who knows me knows that money has not been a great temptation for me. Let them find a grain of lek, a witness. A single fact to prove that I am not who I am. Then I will go myself. They have not found and will not find anything. They have made me a drug producer. No, I am not a user. They have made me a criminal. No, I have not committed any crime. They have made me a vote buyer. Crime no longer decides anything in this Albania led by the Socialist Party...." (A2 Televizion)
